NUTRITION: Rice Cakes?
Don't eat them if you don't like them. I never really did until I recently came across Quaker's new flavored rice cakes. I'm sold on the chocolate and caramel versions.
The Good: A great snack and crunch to get you between meals. Most range in calories from 30-75. No Fat, no cholesterol, low sodium and sugar.
The Bad: They are void of any nutritional value by themselves. Low in fiber and everything else.
I've found they are amazing when paired with toppings, such as peanut or almond butter - covered in raisins. For me, this is a great late night snack and can easily fight my cravings. Now don't get too out of control and add whipped cream, sprinkles and magic shell - that might not be worthwhile......
